our impact

Pluralsight One is committed to driving significant, lasting social impact by improving equal access to technology skills and funding solutions that scale.

OUR CHALLENGE

A lack of access, not ability

The global technology skills gap and the pace of change create vulnerability for nonprofits and educators.

Nonprofits don’t always have access to technology skills they need to serve their communities best and achieve their missions.

The youth of today need the skills of tomorrow to thrive. That's why we need to change the way we learn. We need to disrupt how education reacts to technology--to empower students and educators to create with technology.

This skills gap is exacerbated in underserved populations, perpetuating inequalities and stalling effective solution development across the globe. These communities face some of the world’s toughest challenges, and yet, they lack access to the tech skills to overcome them and excel.

We don’t believe the issue can be solved simply by connecting communities with technology. We need to connect them with opportunities to develop technology skills.

root causes

The problems we’re facing

In order to solve the technology skills gap, we know that we have to start at understanding and addressing the root causes.

15-24 year olds make up 18% of the global population but 40% of the unemployed

The global poverty rate could be reduced by more than half if all adults completed secondary education

By the year 2030, 1.5 billion adults are likely to have no education beyond primary school
